s390x based oc-mirror plugin for linuxONE OpenShift clusters to mirror Operator HUB file based catalog in Air gapped environment.

oc-mirror plugin can fine-tune the configuration to only include the OpenShift Container Platform releases and Operators that cluster needs which reduces the amount of data needed to download and transfer. Currently s390x based oc-mirror plugin is not available to mirror file based Operator HUB catalog in Air gapped environment compared x86 environments . Customers would like to mirror images using single tool rather than following a multiple steps procedure to mirror images and occupy more storage space. This will help customers opting for Air-gapped installations to flexibley mirror images and install applications .

    The Red Hat OpenShift is a Red Hat product and not part of Linux on IBM Z and LinuxONE. Please consider opening a request for feature enhancement for Red Hat products as described here: https://access.redhat.com/solutions/73513
