Unix Syslogd Support as additional transport mechanism for messages on HMC and SE to remote syslogd gatherer

To comply with PCI DSS requirements a central syslog gathering server is installed in our infrastructure and especially the distributed systems send all their relevant messages to this instance using the syslogd function.

To integrate the HMC and SE infrastructure in the existing monitoring infrastructure it should be possible to forward at least the audit and security messages generated on the HMC and SE to the central server using the syslog functionality.

An additional benefit of using syslog would be the possibility to gather also the messages of the underlying operating system on the HMC and SE and monitor the HMC and SE itself.
