we need Client Authentication support in our Manage Syslog server Option of IBM Z14 ZR1 HMC @ R51 microcode level.

    After review, we have determined this is a defect and a problem should be opened to address. Please use "Report a Problem" on the HMC to open a defect. In the problem description please also indicate that you were advised by the SE/HMC development team to submit the problem. "Report a Problem" can be found with search term "Report" from the Welcome screen.

    Current HMC "Manage Syslog server" SSL option only support one way authentication (server) and not two ways (server + client). Running trace on the other end shows, when the syslog server requests Client Authentication Certificate from HMC its sending "0" bytes and communication breaks. We need Client authentication support on HMC "Manage Syslog Server" task.
