Export configuration in batch

Because we have disaster recovery procedure on server outside the current location of server, we need to export manually the WLM configuration stored on the current coupling facility sysplex to import this saved configuration on the new recovery sysplex sever. Because the procedure is manual sometimes it is not done and also we need a weekly backup of WLM configuration stored on the coupling facility.

For now there is no existing batch job to export the WLM configuration stored on the coupling.

Thanks for your immediate answer. This reassures our assumptions about your use case. We already have a similar idea in https://ibm-z-hardware-and-operating-systems.ideas.ibm.com/ideas/ZOS-I-2691 - you can consider to move your votes to the already existing idea which we keep for future consideration.

Are you using the z/OSMF WLM task to work with WLM service definitions? If using the z/OSMF WLM task to install a WLM service definition, you can automatically generate a backup copy of the service definition in a sequential dataset. The name of the backup data set can be specified in the z/OSMF WLM settings tab (more info in https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/zos/3.1.0?topic=task-settings-tab).
Would that function help in accomplishing your requirement?

It would be a great help for all customers who have a remote disaster recovery site. The IBM recommandation is not to replicate the WLM disk to the remote disk
