XCF_CF_STR_MAXSPACE health check update

It would be good to update the XCF_CF_STR_MAXSPACE IBM health check so that it displays the current maximum structure space defined in the policy and the current augmented space allocation, when the check is successful. Currently you only see these values when the check is unsuccessful which makes planning for increasing structure sizes or adding new structures difficult. I can't find any way to display augmented storage usage ahead of time, I've only seen this figure displayed when this check is in exception status.

The XCF_CF_MEMORY_UTILIZATION check already takes this approach, telling you the % of memory utilization in the CFs even when the check is successful which is very useful.

Thanks

    Hi,

Thanks for the reply. I've tried verbose mode and that does EXACTLY what I wanted to do.

    Thank you

Check XCF_CF_STR_MAXSPACE supports VERBOSE MODE. The IBM default is VERBOSE(NO). The example override in the doc demonstrates enabling verbose mode:
    https://www.ibm.com/docs/zos/latest?topic=ibmxcf-xcf-cf-str-maxspace

When run in verbose mode, XCF_CF_STR_MAXSPACE provides information about CF structures even if they have no exception.

The IBM Health Checker for z/OS User's Guide discusses various ways to override the IBM default settings.
