This is the public portal for all IBM Z Hardware and Operating System related offerings. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Additional information on what is driving this record:
IBM is asking us to report on which operating systems are running in a physical (LPAR) or virtual (zVM Guest) container.
Use case 1 represents the LPAR where IBM is asking for audit of any running OS in any LPAR. IBM has called out our "DUMMY" LPARS which are active lpars with capacity but no running OS. The dummy lpar is a common implementation in our zCloud environment where you will find a dummy lpar for GCP, zIIP, ICF, and IFL engines.
Use case 2 is covering our use of zVM for hosting in zCloud and a zVM may be running guest OS such as zOS, zVM, zTPF, VSEn.
In this recent ask we are needing to show all running zOS hence the mention of SCRT, but this is not limited to zOS
I don't know if zOS is the right placement, as the ask could also fit in IBM Z hardware or zVM space
