Enable FEATURE SHARED=YES in the HCD PROFILE

Our customer encountered data integrity problem for the user catalogs and the DASD datasets in the data warehouse system because a lot of USBs were SHARED=NO. Then it could not update the databases for a few weeks.

So, our customer strongly requests to update HCD from the view of fail safe when they defined IODF unexpectedly.


Now in the HCD PROFILE, PARAMETERs(LOCANY, OFFLINE etc.) are accepted. But we cannot specify FEATURE( SHARED ).

Could you please change to enable to set FEATURE in the HCD PROFILE.

    We understand the overall intention of your proposed requirement.
    This is a useful enhancement to HCD and we will move it to our requirement list.
