We would like job specific tape mount information to review elongated tape mounts

We have BVIR records where elongated tapes mounts have been identified but we need to identify which jobs were impacted. This information would be ideal to have stored in any of the job based SMF records (21s/30s/14s/15s). This information would be used to identify jobs that are being excessively delayed.

    IBM agrees that it would be beneficial to our clients if there was more job-related information available for a tape mount. This may be a combination of information provided by the host and by the TS7700.
