Health check MSGBASED

On a GDPS Metro installation there is a GDPS health checker called GDPS_CHECK_XCF that cheks for the XCF CFRM MSGBASED protocol. It raises a high priority alert whenever the LPAR that does the MSGBASED role is a KP system. However when the situation is fixed and the health check is successfull it doesn't tell which LPAR that function was moved to.

Also, there is not a proper SETXCF command to move the MSGBASED role to a specific LPAR. You have to STOP the use of MSGBASED protocol and START again on the LPAR that you choose to have that role in your Sysplex. It would be nicer to have a SETXCF MODIFY subparameter to move that role to a specific LPAR than have to stop and start. Also, there is no XCF DISPLAY which would tell the user what is the LPAR that holds that role at any time, you have to rely solely on the GDPS health check for that. It would be nice to have that information included on the D XCF,COUPLE display for instance.

This is a great idea. I just recently went through addressing the Healthcheck for this with one of our sysprogs, and although it is not difficult to address, it would be great to have an mvs command to just move it and also display command to validate it other than running the check again

Messages IXC359I and IXC360I (from a successful D XCF,STR,... command) have the name of the MSGBASED manager system.
    It looks like this:
EVENT MANAGEMENT: MESSAGE-BASED MANAGER SYSTEM NAME: SY1
    MANAGEMENT LEVEL : 01050107
