This is the public portal for all IBM Z Hardware and Operating System related offerings. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

CXL 3.0 is built upon the IBM OpenCAPI, but CXL3 and CXL 4 have more speeds and will achieve the following:
1- Enabling the Interconnection between IBM LinuxONE and Exa scale AI Data Centers based on Nvidia DGX H100 based on Nvidia H100 GPUs and Intel Xeon Scalable Processor (Now, Xeon Scalable Processor 4 supports CXL 1.1 , but in the future versions they will support CXL 2.0 or CXL 3.0).
2- Enabling the interconnection between the IBM Z LinuxONE and the future versions of IBM Power Systems, the interconnection can achieve the Memory Area Network, which will push the integration between the IBM z Linux ONE and IBM Power to the Next level of Future AI Data centers.
3- Enabling the IBM z LinuxONE interconnections with the CXL 3.0 or CXL 4.0 Networking Hierarchical Switches, which enable the CXL Devices, e.g. FPGA Devices, Memory Devices, Data Storage Devices and other futuristic devices.
