Mainframe Network Engineer

I'd like to be able to shift workload around dynamically leveraging
weighted active DVIPAs under Sysplex Distributor. For example, if LPAR A is receiving upgraded software, I'd like to be able to slowly trickle online workload to it until we are comfortable enough to throw a full workload at it.

I can do this today by staging a configuration (with VIPA DEL and VIPA
DEF statements) and varying it online dynamically but that doesn't
provide the kind of agility I'm looking for.

Say LPAR A is malfunctioning. I'd like to keep workload away from it to
prevent any issues that may affect the customer. I'd have to identify
what the current weights are for the appropriate DVIPAs, stage a
configuration to remove them then apply a new one, and finally vary
that online. That's pretty time consuming.

Does IBM offer a product (TN3270 or GUI) that would allow us to change DVIPA weights more quickly and with less manual research and preparation during what could be an expensive outage?
