RACF Password History and RACF LDAP Password reset interface

We would like the ability for RACF to check the Password History when the password is being reset through the LDAP interface. Based on feedback from RACF support (see PMR) they use a ALTUSER command which currently does not check the password history.
An alternative would be to pass the password history to the ICHPWX01 exit so it could be used to check the new password against the password history. Currently the exit only receives the password history for REQUEST=VERIFY calls.
