Session: Availability Workgroup
Requirement Value Category: Continuous Availability / Continuous Operations

Problem Description: It is not possible to specify in the ARM policy that you want an element to be restarted only in case the system fails. Only TERMTYPE(ALLTERM) or TERMTYPE(ELEMTERM) can be specified.^@The ability of TERMTYPE(SYSTERM) would make it possible to repond to the outage of the element with System Automation and have additional recovery tasks done before restarting the failed element.^@This recovery only has to be done when only the elemement fails and not the system.

TERMTYPE = SYSTERM defining ARM policy

Merged
When defining an ARM policy we can specify TERMTYPE = ALLTERM or ELEMENTTERM.We'd like to have TERMTYPE = SYSTERM option as well, when only ARM-restarts based on full-system abends are desired.
