RELATED IDEAS

Converting DFSMS utilities (IEBGENER) to 31bit

For a Special isv application (Serena merant dimensions) we've had to
activate XPLINK(ON) for some EPLI main routines.

Same application uses/calls IEBGENER too and this combination isn't working now:
CEE3194E An attempt was made to initialize an AMODE24 program when
XPLINK(ON) run-time Option was in effect. AMODE24 programs are not
supported in an XPLINK Environment.

But we still have the requirement for such a "copy a dataset"-Interface like IEBGENER from amode(31) or XPLINK(ON) pgms.
