z/OSMF workflows as a self-service platform - Workflow Enhancements

We thought of using z/OSMF Workflows as a self-service platform where other teams could execute frequent requests made to us sysprogs independently, that way we would only need to take part in the initial workflow design and creation inside z/OSMF. Then, the end users would be able to reuse workflows made available to them to meet their needs.

The required features to make this possible are:
1. Adding a Owner tag to the workflow schema that allows us to define RACF defined GROUPS as workflow owners;
2. Adding an Assignee tag to the workflow schema under the step section would allow for workflows to be created with predefined RACF defined GROUPS as their executors;
3. Adding and option during Workflow Editing that ALLOWS/DISALLOWS JCL editting during step execution;
4. Submitting jobs as IZUSVR (or another generic user) without including the USER parm in the JCL JOB card or allowing access to the SURROGAT class to the user. This means that the user SHOULD ONLY BE ALLOWED to submit a JOB as IZUSVR (or another generic user) inside z/OSMF;
5. Reseting the Workflow status to Ready, all steps included;
6. Successfully completed steps shouldn't be available for execution until the Workflow is reset.

    z/OS Management Services Catalog (a z/OSMF plug-in) provides most of what you are asking for, I think. It's part of z/OS 2.4 and 2.5.
