rm -r protection when spanning multiple file systems

A user accidentally issued an rm -r .* * command from /
The user was unaware that he did this.

This deleted files across thousands of our USS file systems.

There needs to be a warning message when this kind of destructive command is issued that spans multiple file systems to prevent this from happening again, i.e. a warning/confirmation that says "Warning - this command traverses multiple file systems are you sure (Y/N)?"

Bill Schoen, John Shebey and Dave Geib are already aware.

Idea priority Urgent

I heard this comment a long time ago, back when USS first came to be, and I was just learning it. In a class that I was taking the instructor stressed that make sure you know what your command does, because in unix no news is good news. I couldn't help but think at that time it would sure be nice if something would come back especially for commands like this. But I've always lived by no news is good news and be extra careful when playing on the Dark Side!!!
