OAM and CTRANS processing- We ask for new feature

We have a pretty large Object environment. We have a daily proces of maybe 200 storagegroups that are processed with Class Transition(CTRANS).
We delete objects manually via homegrown applications.
But sometimes we miss to get that completed in due time. That causes a high number of CPU-cycles that we would like to avoid. As described in Apar OA58002. Case TS003459247 adresses the same matter.

We use ctrans and penddate to create backups and to move objects from Dasd to Tape; but NOT to delete objects.
We use the 'new function' under the parameter SETOSMC named recallt, to avoid repeated tape mounts, and by recallt a copy of the object is replicated from tape back to DB2.
So all above must continue to work.

    This requirement has been delivered with APAR OA62374 on z/OS V2R4 and above.

    To add to my previous response. We are looking to deliver this support through the service stream on z/OS V2R3 and above (V2R3, V2R4 and V2R5) with APAR OA62190 (targeting availability for March 2022).

    Interesting that you will create a solution. I just wondered if there is a typo in the comment from IBM ----- This enhancement is currently being targeted for z/OS V2R3 and higher (March 2022).

    We talk z/OS V2R5 now and the comment from 28 Sep 2021 refers V2R3?

    Can you please clarify?

    This enhancement is currently being targeted for z/OS V2R3 and higher (March 2022). See APAR OA62190 for additional detail. Plans are always subject to change.

    I guess it is time to get an update for this RFE. We need the functionality and RFE was created 18 months ago.
    IBM developer have updated with ----"IBM agrees that there is value in this requirement and will be considered in the future."

    Question is if there are any progress with the delivery of this function?
