IO Timing Facility - Page Devices Support

We previously submitted an RFE for I/O Timing Facility (IOT) Page devices support.

When we submitted this RFE, we expected the system to enter the non-restartable wait state after hitting full recovery. However, the implementation of this RFE does not meet our expectation because we know that in reality, the paging slot will only error and not enter the non-restartable wait state.

Japanese banking system have redundancy in their design to achieve high availability.
(So-called hot standby or active standby systems)
In case of a system failure, the failed system is partitioned from the data sharing group and the remaining systems continue operations. For this reason, it is necessary to have a way to quickly partition a failure system that cannot (or may not) continue operations due to no response from the page device.

We want the page devices with Full Recovery to enter the non-restartable wait state when it hits the IOT, as it does when IECIOSxx RECOVERY DCCF=WAIT_STATE is specified.

In this new RFE, we would like you to add the following functions.

- To enable IOT setting for Page devices.

- In the case of message-only recovery (MSGONLY=YES), the message IOS080I is output.

- In the case of full I/O timing recovery (MSGONLY=NO), put it in a non-restartable wait state, like DCCF=WAIT_STATE.
