DFSMShsm failed CDS Backup only stops automatic functions on just one system

If the cds backup fails, the auto functions should be stopped on all systems, not just the one on which the backup was running.

Regardless of whether CDS backup failed, the need to manage free space availability and recovery remains. Stopping daily functions on all Lpars would impede the purpose of HSM. Though the CDS backup is essential especially for clearing the JOURNAL, the daily functions serve a higher degree of purpose. What is of significant importance is to be made aware of the CDS backup failure. Your automation tool can be used to trap the failure message and initiate some means of alerting so remediation can begin asap.
