Shape the future of IBM!

We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Search existing ideas

Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,

Post your ideas
  1. Post an idea.

  2. Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.

refresh content by fflush()

In C/C++ Programin Guide, under the title “Buffering of C Streams” It is stated:
If you are reading a record that another user is writing to at the same time, you can see the new data if you call fflush() to refresh the contents of the input buffer.

We would like you to make it happen as currently it does not work.
IBM Support answer regarding the above is that they are going to drop this sentence from IBM documentation.

    This item is a valid requirement but unlikely to be given high enough priority to be placed into the product plan. If this requirement is high value, please re-open it, or open a new requirement.
