ISPF SuperC compare / ISREDIT COMPARE support for modify process options in REXX/TSO.

Customer: Claus Bjoerno, Bankdata under JN Data.
----------------------------
We're currently having an issue with the internal ISPF SuperC compare, using this statement in a REXX under TSO:

"ISREDIT COMPARE SESSION SAVE SYSIN"

It seems that this comparison is always uses these process options UPDLDEL, NOLISTL, LINECMP, and CKPACKL specified.
However, we would like to use the following SuperC Process statements: DPLINE (Do not process lines - containing a string)

These proces options and proces statement are not 'compatible' and end up in a conflict:

--------------------------------------------------------
PROCESS OPTIONS USED: UPDLDEL NOSEQ NOPRTCC MIXED CKPACKL

THE FOLLOWING PROCESS STATEMENTS (USING COLUMNS 1:72) WERE PROCESSED:
DPLINE 'ALLOCATE'

DSRS014W UPDATE OPTION CONFLICTS WITH "DO NOT PROCESS" OPTION SELECTION. "DO NOT PROCESS" OPTIONS IGNORED.
--------------------------------------------------------

RFE: Request for change:

pls. allow it to be possible to modify the process options when using internal ISPF SuperC compare / ISREDIT COMPARE in REXX/TSO?

Your description and use case contain the same information, which is not very useful.

You might consider posting a link to this RTF to the IBM-MAIN mailing list with a bit more background, there may be a work-around, like using "ochgt" and "nchgt" statements, which *are* accepted - been there, done that.
