RELATED IDEAS

RACF RACDCERT should support PDS(E) and zFS as well as sequential data sets

RACDCERT ADD, CHECKCERT, GENREQ etc. require a unique sequential dataset. Usability would be improved if RACF supported a PDS or PDSE member, or even a zFE file.

    Not only is it a "minor road block", but the errors are opaque--along the lines of "Invalid data set", no clue why. Everything (FSVO "everything") else handles PDS(E) at least transparently; RACF should too.
