AMAPDUPL and meaningful error messages

Using AMAPDUPL return sometimes RC different of zero.

In general this RC and messages are not meaningful or comprehensible or printed on the sysout.


For exemple, if you want to have a TARGET_DSN with an £ character, the server return a bad request on the trace SYSOUT.

No normal human can understand that the trouble is the £ character.


Could you test the sysin according what is written on the documentation ?

Could you send more comprehensible error messages ?

    PDUU documentation will be corrected to indicate the proper requirements on TARGET_DSN from the ECUREP website, as it does not accept characters other than alphanumeric and the . (period).
    Updating PDUU to attempt to obtain error information from the server is unlikely to be given enough priority to be placed into product plan.
