Override EATTR attribute during Dfdss copy

Why is it useful? Current problem: Unable to use the Cylinder Managed Space (CMS) on an EAV volume during the DFDSS copy of large files. Copy job fails, with space abends even though the space is there. Use case/work around: DFDSS copy of large files works when the SET PATCH command is used in the Copy parm statement. Who would benefit? All z/OS users of DFdss copy How should it work? Would like this to possibly be a system default when running the DFDSS copy OR a settable in a parmlib or some other mechanism that doesn’t require a usermod.

You can already set a PATCH value permanently as a default, and just override with SET PATCH in JCL as and when required.
