Avoid HIS's deleting WIC files when WIC collection stopped

Submitted By: SHARE-MVSE
Submitted Date: 12/04/2022
Submitter Name: Mike Shorkend (System Software Specialist)
Submitter Email: mike@shorkend.com
Description:
When you use HIS to record WIC records by using this command: F HIS,WIC,INMEM=IFASMF..WIC,WICPATH='/u/wic' It starts writing the WIC records to files at the specified location. If you change the location by issuing F HIS,WICPATH='/u/wic1' or stop recording by issuing F HIS,WIC,WICPATH=NONE HIS will automatically delete all the files in the previous location. So if you want to gather some WIC records for a specific interval, you have to remember to copy the data files to a new location before stopping the collection. Does not make sense
