zSORT should be able to use Virtual Flash Memory instead of using disk in case of memory shortage

Today, many financial companies  use Virtual Flash Memory (VFM) in their zSystems. However, this feature has a limited number of users on z/OS. And there's also TBs of memory on VFM. Why DFSORT or DB2 SORT utilites do not use VFM to improve the performance of zSORT in the lack of memory  situations? As you know, DFSORT and DB2 SORT utlities use disk if memory is not enough. However, VFM's latency is much lower than Disk. This feature may be optional if the zServer has not VFM.

The operating system does not offer the ability to use Virtual Flash Memory outside of paging store and svc dump. Even though this item is a valid requirement its unlikely to be given high enough priority to be placed into the z/OS product plan.
