VTAM Connection Network Pending PU Processing

When a Connection Network PU goes into a pending state during connection establishment, VTAM does not perform any INOP Processing as it does for native Enterprise Extender connections. The pending PU remains in the pending state for an indefinite time. New SNA sessions cannot be established between the affected systems. Information or error messages about the pending state are not issued in that situation also. The service availability of SNA communications is decreased.

VTAM should initiate the same INOP processing for pending CN PUs as it does for native EE PUs. Meaningful messages should be issued also.

The behavior described in the RFE is basically the expected behavior. If the observed behavior is different, that needs to be pursued through a case.
