Allow 'su' to inherit options from the parent shell

Hello IBM,

Without the 2nd 'errexit', the script below continues further execution, despite /var/xxxxxxxxxxx being non-existent ('su'  does not inherit the 1st 'errexit').

If the commands following the 'su' are dangerous, system-wide actions (not harmless commands, as in this example) which depend on a successful 'cd', it could have devastating consequences on the FileSystems, z/OS system, sub-systems and applications, if it is forgotten to include the 2nd 'errexit'.

set -o errexit
su
set -o errexit
cd /var/xxxxxxxxxxx
pwd
xxx
date

Please allow for 'su' to inherit at least the 'errexit' option, if not others.

Regards and thanks,

Kevan Dunstan
