Hello IBM,
for clarity the reason for my request is so that our Output Management Control System (OMCS) can show the batch ZIIP usage between the cpusec and lines columns below. we can sort the output by columns to see the top "spusec" users and try changing to IBM programs that utilize ZIIP engines to offload General cpu consumption to ZIIP consumption.
Yes, of course we can run SMF accounting reports with SAS and use RMF, however, our OMCS facility is much more elegant and uses the official IBM job log output to build all the columns below. this way we have historical reporting on our tuning efforts going back many years.
it also allows us to justify purchasing more ZIIP engines to offload from the GP engines.
