z/OSMF Function to send a broadcast message to all users of z/OSMF

There are times when the z/OS system needs to send a broadcast message to all users to inform them of some system event that is planned. The z/OS Operator SEND command does this for TSO users, as does the TSO SEND command. The shell wall command can be used to send broadcast messages to ssh users.

What is lacking is the ability to connect to those users using z/OSMF.

Please provide some capability to do this.

To add to the other comment - the current notification is a bubble on an icon - hardly enough to notify someone of something urgent such as 'Please logoff for planned system restart'.

Voted. If the Notifications feature is to be used for this, it would be ideal to enhance it with a way to send more urgent notifications that will be more recognizable to users than the existing functionality which is quite subtle.
