Provide user exit points for some commands in FTP server & client.

It would be beneficial for customers that use source code managers to provide user exit points at certain points in command processing. For example, by allowing a server LIST, RETR, or STOR command to access an API or insert a SUBSYS= value for a source-management product such as Endevor or Panvalet to manipulate/build data, individual members could be more easily transferred without having to resort to batch jobs to unload/copy/load.

Given customers? reluctance to write exit code these days, we are reluctant to invest in any additional exit capabilities. While you probably are aware of it, I will point out that the FTP server provides a command exit (FTCHKCMD) that gets driven each time a command is received, and a post-processing exit (FTPOSTPR) that is driven right before returning the reply to the command. One or both of those might be helpful.
