.This is a worthwhile functionality. Unfortunately, the current support provided by the Language Environment does not support an AMODE64 POSIX(ON) environment changing to an AMODE31 POSIX(ON) environment, and the z/OS Client for Web Enablement Toolkit used by CDA is AMODE31 and POSIX(ON). Once the Language Environment can support the need, this requirement will become doable.

This can be a difficult requirement to support satisfactorily. Besides difficulties with LE AMODE64 to AMODE31, the z/OS Client for Web Enablement Toolkit also only supports AMODE 31 callers.
