HCD: List which PCIe Functions are attached to an LPAR from „Partition List”

Today we are using OSA Express Cards on our native Linux on IBM zSystems LPARs for network access.

To check if the shared cards are defined correct to the LPAR we use the “Partition List” within a CSS, (v) View attached channel paths.
Now we also use “PCIe Functions” Type ROCE-2 cards for network access and unfortunately there is no possibility to check which PCIe Functions are connected to a specific LPAR from “Partition List”.
The only way to doublecheck is to use a “Filter” within “PCIe Function List”.

Our idea is to maybe use (f) in the “Partition List” to show which PCIe Function is attached to a specific LPAR to get a better overview about the configuration.

    Hello Alexander,

many thanks for helping us to improve HCD. We understand the overall intention of your proposed requirement.
This is a useful enhancement to HCD and we will move it to our requirement list.

    But be aware:
Since the content of our next release is already defined, we will move your request into our long-term queue.

    Kind regards,
    Your HCD Team
