Is IBM health check VSAMRLS_TVS_ENABLED still required under zOS v3.1 ?

Now that DFSMStvs is included in the base install of zOS v3.1, health check VSAMRLS_TVS_ENABLED excepts as it now finds the product installed but not enabled. I suspect the majority of zOS customers do not enable this now free product? so would have to inactivate the check to remove the exception.

Hello, I suspect this check was implemented to highlight to a customer that they had installed the then paid for DFSMStvs product but had not enabled it. Now DFSMStvs is included in the base from zOS v3.1, this check will except for every customer who doesn't want to enable it. So yes, I'm querying the validity of the check from zOS v3.1.

Thanks for reaching out to the Health Checker development team! However, we are struggling to grasp what the request for this RFE is? Is the request to remove VSAMRLS_TVS_ENABLED for 3.1?
