Now that DFSMStvs is included in the base install of zOS v3.1, health check VSAMRLS_TVS_ENABLED excepts as it now finds the product installed but not enabled. I suspect the majority of zOS customers do not enable this now free product? so would have to inactivate the check to remove the exception.

Since with this line item DFSMStvs is always installed free of charge, the VSAMRLS_TVS_ENABLED check will never display the IGWRH0302I informational message that says DFSMStvs is not installed.
Also, again, with this 3.1 line item, you will never get the IGWRH0301E exception -- if you do the VSAMRLS_TVS_ENABLED health check and you have not enabled DFSMStvs, you will only get the IGWRH0301I informational message. As usual, if you do not need to use DFSMStvs, you need not enable DFSMStvs. Of course, if you do not want to see any Health Check exceptions or messages from the VSAMRLS_TVS_ENABLED check, and you do not want to use DFSMStvs, simply do not do the VSAMRLS_TVS_ENABLED health check.
Also, if DFSMStvs has not been installed, with this line item the VSAMRLS_TVS_ENABLED check would no longer display the IGWRH0302I informational message.
Therefore, again, with this 3.1 line item, you will never get the IGWRH0301E exception: if you do the VSAMRLS_TVS_ENABLED health check and you have not enabled the installed DFSMStvs, you will only get the IGWRH0301I informational message; if you have not installled DFSMStvs, the VSAMRLS_TVS_ENABLED health check will not display any exceptions and messages. As usual, if you do not need to use DFSMStvs, you need not intall or enable DFSMStvs. Of course, if you do not want to see any Health Check exceptions or messages from the VSAMRLS_TVS_ENABLED check, just do not do the VSAMRLS_TVS_ENABLED health check.

Hello, I suspect this check was implemented to highlight to a customer that they had installed the then paid for DFSMStvs product but had not enabled it. Now DFSMStvs is included in the base from zOS v3.1, this check will except for every customer who doesn't want to enable it. So yes, I'm querying the validity of the check from zOS v3.1.
