AI-Powered WLM - New feature: Calendar for DAYOFF definitions

We have a monthly cycle on our daily schedules. Beside the normal working days, there are some days e.g. weekends or day-offs where the scheduled jobs are extremely different. We would like (as first phase of implementing this idea) to have the ability so all the weekend to be excluded from the training of SMF99-2 data, so to be more accurate the prediction of the service classes behavior. At the next phase we would like to have the ability to pre-define all the upcoming day-offs of the next months (e.g. for the next year).

    Hello Konstantinos,
    Anastasiia Didkovska our Product Manager sent a mail to you in November to ask for a call. It would be great to have the call with you to understand better the rationale of your requests and to discuss the questions you have raised.

    Hello Konstantinos,
    Our model is designed to recognize weekly patterns, which means it already accounts for weekend days. It can differentiate between specific weekdays as well?such as Monday versus Tuesday?so there?s no need to exclude any days in the analysis.
    However, we?d like to understand your comment regarding ?day-off.? Are you referring to public holidays? The model doesn?t recognize public holidays, but if it detects unusual workload distributions on weekday, WLM will take over AI model and adjust accordingly.
