REST-API for z/OSMF Storage API for ScratchTape-Monitoring

We have SMS-managed Tapes, so the current value of scratch tapes is visible
in ISMF under TapeLibrary options. We also can use a batch job for counting the scratch tapes.
It would be useful, if the current value of scratch tapes would be accessible by a rest-api in z/OSMF,
maybe below /zosmf/storage/rest/v1/tapelibrary/<useful endpoint name>.

Access to a physical IBM Tape Library for accessing the API is not possible,
because of no IBM hardware...

I am not sure how to re-open an idea.
We have no IBM Tape hardware, so access to IBM Tape hardware rest-api is not possible :-)

We think this REST capability already exists through the TS7700 Virtualization Engine. They have a set of REST API interfaces that can be used to pull data from the TS7700 including the number of volumes in a category. Refer to https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/ts7700-virtual-tape/6.0?topic=STFS69_6.0/TS7700_RESTful_API.yaml. In particular there is a get categories function. If this does not provide what you are looking for, please reopen this requirement.
