CSSMTP Check SMTP Mail Addresses

CSSMTP does not have a function to control the usage of Sender- and Destination Mail addresses specified in the SMTP-Headers (for example MAIL FROM:, RCPT TO:, FROM:, TO:, etc.). The check must be based on the RACF user ID with which the JES spool dataset was created which contains the SMTP mail source. Using CSSMTPs Exit is not desirable.

    Hello.

    2025 and the problem is still there. More and more people are working remotely and a ability to spoof a corporate email is a bit scary.

    Any chance this idea could be reviewed again? I see a lot of options this can be leveraged for malicious content.
