TSO commands issued via the REST API may cause data truncation

The REST APIs are extremely convenient since they don't require account information or logonProc.
However, there can data truncation when using these APIs.

Note:
There doesn't seem to be any data truncation when going the long route.
Long route: Start the Address Space (AS), send messages to the AS, receive messages from the AS, and end the AS with independent REST API calls.

API: Issue a TSO/E command with z/OSMF REST API

Thank you for additional data. Based on discussion in github issue, it looks like additional messages issued from REXX exec fixes intermittent data loss issue. Have you tried running REXX exec directly in TSO and see how it behaves? Is it possible to share entire REXX program that drives this subfunction?

Thanks for your interest in using z/OSMF TSO REST API.

Will you please share some example of data truncation? Which command you are invoking that results into data truncation?
