RCL service window reduction

In the near past, before we used RCL, the IBM SSR came on site and performed the MCL load in the datacenter. The service window was calculated on around 4hrs for one servers, both the HMCs and SEs were done in the same window. With RCL this is no ...

Allow BCPii to see capacity records that have been downloaded but not accepted/installed. Even better would be for it to install those records and activate them if desired. Activation is most likely only useful for loaner record.

If there is a new capacity record downloaded, we can't even see it in BCPii. If we could we could alert someone that an action needs to be taken to "get" that record. Of course, letting BCPii get the record would be even better than just letting B...

Crypto ID in toggle on/off panel

When isolating a crypto engine we have to verify the crypto deactivated in ICSF with the crypto engine on the toggle off/on panel. It would be beneficial if we could verify the serial number from ICSF with the toggle off/on panel before taking the...

allow BCPii to show current number of engines enabled to a Z/OS (and any other type of) LPAR

There is currently a field in BCPii (number-general-purpose-processors) that we thought was the number of current GP engens enabled. Support has confirmed that this is not the current number of engines that are live, it's once again a re-statement...

IODF IPL attributes usage visible to HMC and HCD

Especially with new machines and newcomers, the idea for having this visible when used would create less confusion about whether they are active. You already have this display on image profile LOAD section, so why not to use it also on SE and HMC ...

Retrieve/update Authorized LPARS that can send commands via BCPII

As service provider hosting lot of customers, defining the LPARs that can send BCPII command to an LPAR and retrieving this information are fastidious manual operations. Would be nice if we could perform it via a batch program

Remove HMC network restriction that 2nd NIC must be in a separate network

The current HMC network setup requires that the 2nd NIC on an HMC be in a separate network. The restriction should be removed, so the 2nd NIC can be in the same network as the 1st NIC. The 2nd NIC should be cabled to a different physical switch th...
