Simplified MNTE_SYSLIST syntax as part of z/OS UNIX REXX mount command

Currently, if a user would like to include MNTE_SYSLIST as a parm in his USS REXX mount command implementation, the user must code the MNTE_SYSLIST as though they are writing assembler code using the mapping described in BPXYMNTE: MNTENTSYSLISTNUM...

Add ALPHANUM Keyword to ISPF Panel VER Statement

There are edit checks for ALPHA and NUM, but not ALPHANUM. We have the need to validate fields that should only contain A-Z,0-9. We have to do this programmatically now. A panel edit check is much easier and much less coding to do.

Add dynamic allocation failure on Primary tape copy to criteria for automatic Backup

A common error condition for the Primary copy on tape is a dynamic allocation failure. Currently, this does not trigger the AutoBackup feature, if enabled. This anomaly totally defeats the benefit of AutoBackup.

Global (dynamic) Variables in REXX - and sorry, I couldn't find any category for this... I know that REXX is not XML :)

This would allow a very flexible communication between procedures. A global variable name in REXX would have a syntax like @abc@ (earmuffed) and would always refer to a variable in the main program and not in the current set of variables. It can b...

Add a print channel to the OAM started task which only contains output from the OSMC Detail block

This would help all OAM Administrators, as it would avoid extraneous lines in the OSMC Detail block, which can be very difficult to read

Provide Limit on SDSF JES2 Commands

Currently a SDSF user can submit any number of commands with SDSF in the BLOCK Command process. JES2 can hang if too many $P or $T commands are entered.

conditional includes in JCL

Couldn't find a better category for this, feel free to move it. I'd like to see the ability to include members into JCL conditionally, depending on the value of a set statement, a variable passed into a proc etc. e.g. // SET VAR=Y .. .. .. // IF V...
