I support this idea. The missing possibility to allow the backup LDAP server to have a different Directory Entry Location is an obstacle for us to use LDAP user management on the HMC.
Due to significant investment needed and limited clients impacted, this item is unlikely to be given high enough priority to be placed into the product plan.
