Request for system Z HMC 'View LPAR controls' task

Our current z/15 HMC has a task called 'Change LPAR Controls' that allows my Configuration Mgmt. dept to manage our zCloud external customers LPDEFS such as weights, caps, etc. Due to the large number of changes our external customers require in flexing MIPS up/down, weights, defined capacity, etc. our Performance and Capacity Measurements group require a read only option for these values and they are not allowed to have update authority. This option will allow them to see the current settings on the machine and not have to rely on outdated spreadsheets.

As a Performance and Capacity Management (PCM) support person, it is critical that we have up to date information on the current LPAR Definitions when both assisting system architects and customers with LPAR migrations, growth and shrinkage of resources (Processor engines, IO Channels, and memory) planning . It is very critical that PCM pulls current LPDEF when investigating an active resource shortage or capacity issue with an LPAR(s). The read only access prevents PCM or any roll base from making accidental or malicious changes to any LPDEFs or HMC settings. Current methods require interrupting those who have read access to LPAR information on an HMC, which is disruptive to those who have to respond to PCM's view requests.
