An export&import functionality for HMC Information inside Activaiton Profiles

I would like to suggest creating a functionality to transfer all the HMC LPAR and CEC information inside the "Customize/Delete activate profile" to an XML, zOS datasets or any other kind of format, making it easier to see the history of changes on the number of CPCs, LPAR weight, amount of central storage etc,  and keep it documented. Additionally, if feasible, an extra functionality to easily upload this file in HMC, that would facilitate the hardware configuration for CPU upgrades.

    You can access all the properties associated with an Image Activation Profile through the HMC Web Services API (WSAPI) by using the following URI:

    /api/cpcs/{cpc-id}/image-activation-profile/{profile-name}

    This API call will return a JSON object containing all of the profile?s fields.

    The same information is also available through the Base Control Program internal interface (BCPii). When proper access is set up through the Support Element, you can retrieve and manipulate the data on IBM z/OS.

    For more details on how to use these APIs, as well as a description of all available fields, see the Hardware Management Console Web Services API documentation, which is available on IBM Resource Link. These APIs also let you update Activation Profiles?such as CPU weights, central storage, and other parameters.

    If you want to track changes to Activation Profiles over time, you can view the history by launching the View Security Logs task on the HMC. That log captures changes made to Activation Profiles, including who made them and when they occurred.

    I would add a further benefit of this functionality.
    In case a change goes bad it may be easier to retrofit.
