Restrict access depending on the system service used to access a resource.

A resource, usually a dataset but it can be a general resource, can be accessed through different services. The idea relates to the ability of accessing the resource through TSO, for example, but not using a JOB (or NetView, or other systems services).

    Thank you for your answer.

    The request is not focused only in TSO or BATCH, it can be any system service that can be used as a way to access to a resource. I will give a couple examples more:

    - a dataset can be created/read/updated/deleted from a NetView task but from nowhere else

    - a program can be invoked when EXEC is done from a STC but not when it is done from a JOB

    Different systems services could be TSO, BATCH, NETVIEW, STARTED (this one covers every STC), CICS, IMS and so on.

    Is your request to allow different logging for applications launched via TSO vs BATCH?
    Or are you requesting additional forms of conditional access other than program name? If so, which forms specifically are you suggesting?
