Enhancement on TCP/IP DROP command

Right now, tcp connection could be dropped by vary tcpip drop command based on the connection id. However, user would like to drop connection straight forward by the destination ip address, instead of spending time on checking the connection id by netstat beforehand. During problem investigation and resolution, user may look for a quick method to drop hundred or thousand of connections with the same destination ip. Thus, it is worth while to enhance the vary tcpip drop command to provide an option to specify the destination ip. Hope that this enhancement would be incorporated in the supportpac z/OS communications server network assistant as well.

This capability can be accomplished by the customer writing a script. This item is unlikely to be given high enough priority to be placed into product plan.
