Deliver security / integrity / vulnerability notification information in a consistent field delineated format

Security / integrity and vulnerability notifications may be difficult to obtain, assess, correlate and act upon.  Format and delivery mechanisms are obtuse, inconsistent at an industry level or may be missing altogether.  Leaving each customer exposed to "known vulnerabilities" that could otherwise be thwarted ahead of an impact.

Develop, deliver and adopt a mainframe industry wide consistent, common methodology to deliver of Security / Integrity / Vulnerability notification, details and status updates, such that the recipient can clearly understand the exposure, vectors and remediation status.

 The proposal is to use a JSON Schema, similar to https://www.first.org/cvss/data-representations , with designated fields, selectable values and free form fields which would allow both human assessment and programmatic retrieval and processing of the data. 

As vulnerability is re-assessed, circumventions or resolutions are developed, the JSON file would be updated with the latest status, tracking the vulnerability to resolution.
