Extra Filters for NETSTAT DEV command

Currently when doing a netstat display you normally only want to look at your OSA cards however the display gives you everything. You can do each individual OSA Card interface name but that is a bit cumbersome. Having a filter added that will allow you to look at just one type of interface in that command would be helpful.

    This item is unlikely to be given high enough priority to be placed into product plan.

    This RFE is being accepted as an uncommitted candidate. You might also consider that a workaround here would be to run the netstat command output through awk and sed. For example, the following command will only display the interfaces that are of type IPAQENET:

    netstat -d | awk '{if (NF==0){print "========"} else {print}}' | sed -n '/IPAQENET/,/========/p'

    The command takes the output of the netstat -d command (yes, the netstat command will need to be run from OMVS) and, using awk, replaces the blank line between each displayed interface with "========" so that sed will scan the output and starts printing the line that contains "IPAQENET" up to the line containing "========".  It will display both IPv4 and IPv6 interfaces.
