Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

This will probably be a fairly low priority item.
As a work around please use the zfsadm fsinfo command
zfsadm fsinfo -aggregate name
The aggregate does not need to be mounted when the full name of the aggregate is used.
If it is more convenient, you can invoke zfsadm fsinfo from JCL. See the Chapter 11. zFS Commands zfsadm fsinfo for example JCL.
In both cases, zFS must be up and running.
