Hi Joey, thanks for the response. Yes, we've noticed that on some screens the LPAR name is available, but it seems sporadic. If we're at the desktop screen after logging in we find ourselves having to decipher the URL to determine where we're at instead of having a SYSPLEX/LPAR name displayed somewhere. We've also noticed some of the plug-ins like ISPF and SDSF easily show what LPAR you're on but the Network Config Assistant does not.
This is more of a z/OSMF as a whole RFE than just incident log where no matter the screen or plug-in you're on, including the desktop at login time, we'd like to easily know what LPAR you're logged on to.
Thank you,
Justin
Hi, Justin
Some z/OSMF plugins (e.g. Incident Log) can be opened against remote sysplex while some others (e.g. WLM) can only be opened against local sysplex today. For plugin window which is opened against remote sysplex, the target system name is displayed in window title. For plugin window which is opened against local system, only plugin name is displayed in the window title. Would you please confirm if this requirement is about adding the local system name in the window title? Thanks!
Best Regards
Joey
