NMI support for OpenSSH SMF record type 119 94-98

We would like to collect SMF records for sftp 119 subtypes 94-98. We are currently using the NMI to collect SMF 119 records and report on them. Can we get these records via the NMI? Seems inconsistent to us to provide some records via the NMI and some records using the SMF exit. We think all the records SMF 119 records should be available via the NMI.

The NMI is the Network Management Interface which is an IBM facility. It is documented in IBM's Comm Server manual.

I'm not familiar with this NMI, could you clear what's the problem of OpenSSH or what improvement of OpenSSH SMF log need?
